Angelo Morini

Founder and Chairman of Anutra, LLC.

Angelo S. Morini, Founder, CEO and Chairman of Anutra, LLC, began his career at a very early age working in his parent’s grocery store in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.  He served honorably in the United States Navy, graduated from college and worked for major food companies Pillsbury and Kraft.  Mr. Morini is also founder of Anutra Farms, Fiesta Foods, and several other food companies including Galaxy Nutritional Foods where he served as Chairman and CEO. He initiated the lower cholesterol, low-fat, trans-fat free and lactose free movement with a line of dairy products made from a vegetable base. He produced "Cooking with the Stars" television program and, through his guest appearances on various programs and on the lecture circuit, is highly regarded as a leading crusader for healthier eating to reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and many other serious maladies. He is active in the sociological aspects of diet and its relation to saving the precious resources of our planet and alleviating world hunger. He has served on President George W. Bush’s Business Advisory Council.

His book, "Nature’s Best Kept Secret – Anutra – and World’s Healthiest Whole Food" is his third book, following "Veggie-sizing" and "Eat to Your Heart’s Content". Mr. Morini graduated from Youngstown State University with a B.A. in Business Administration.

Christopher J. Byrd

President

Christopher J. Byrd of Orlando, Florida, is a long time executive in sales and marketing for numerous food manufacturers. Chris currently is a founding partner in a food marketing company that holds the rights for the Arnold Palmer half-and-half iced tea/lemonade beverage. Chris’s past executive positions range from marketing manager, vice president of sales and marketing and division president with companies such as the JM Smucker Co., Superior Dairy/Foods, Gertrude Hawk Chocolates and the former Guernsey Bel Ingredients Co. Chris has a masters of management degree from Northwestern University located in Evanston, Illinois. He also has an undergraduate degree from Kent State University. Chris has been responsible for the development of sales of many new dairy products and ice cream flavors worldwide and he is also a partner in the Arnold Palmer TeeZels Co, a snack marketer of pretzels shaped like golf tees. He currently lives in Orlando where his two grown children also reside.

Gilbrand Laureano

Vice President – Operations

Gilbran Laureano has served as Vice President of Operations of Anutra, LLC since August 2007. His current responsibilities involve overseeing operations of all areas of the business including production, logistics, purchasing and accounting. Prior to working with Anutra, Gilbran occupied several key positions between 1999 and 2007 at Galaxy Nutritional Foods where he last served as National Sales Manager for the foodservice division; position that involved managing the institutional contracted business as well as industrial sales. During 1995 and 1999, he served as General Vice President for L.L. Food Service and Consulting Inc., a select cafeteria concession franchise in his home town of Caguas, Puerto Rico. Mr. Laureano holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from National-Louis University in Illinois. 

Brian J. Morini, PharmD

Product Research and Efficacy

Dr. Brian Morini is a licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida. He has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University and a B.S. in Neuroscience from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Morini’s experience includes serving as Clinical/Staff Pharmacist at Florida Hospital in Winter Park, Florida, as well as Pharmacist with a major national Pharmacy. He also served as R&D Assistant Lab Manager for Galaxy Nutritional Foods.
